What good is AI if it doesn't create the right thing?

You probably recognise this – AI has generated structures, slides, agendas, and deliverables in seconds and it looks and sounds great. Yet you feel disconnected from the work, and it's hard to get the rest of the team aligned and on board. Why? Because shiny outputs mean nothing if you haven't worked out what actually matters, and though AI is good at creating things, it doesn't automatically create clarity, alignment, or confidence in the work, or what should happen next. That's where storyboarding comes in.  Learn how to shape clear narratives, guide conversations, and create alignment around the work that needs doing, by humans and AI.

Learn how to quickly make sense of complex work

Use storyboarding to cut through uncertainty, information overload, and scattered ideas so the path forward becomes clear for both you and others.

Create alignment before the work accelerates

Turn loose ideas, AI-generated outputs, and disconnected conversations into a visual narrative that helps people understand what matters, why, and what should happen next.

Show how you think, not just what you produce

Whether you’re joining a new team, leading a workshop, or working with a client, storyboarding helps you explain your thinking, build trust early, and guide conversations with confidence.

In the age of AI, what sets you apart is your ability to connect the dots & lead the work

As AI accelerates production, teams are generating more outputs than ever: more slides, more ideas, more plans, more documentation, more deliverables. But speed without direction quickly becomes noise, and overwhelm. What’s needed now are people who can plan and lead the work, deciding what to do and why, how it all fits together, where to leverage AI, and how to shape it into the final outcome. Organisations increasingly need people who can: * connect the dots * shape clear narratives * guide conversations * create alignment * decide what matters * move work forward with confidence Storyboarding helps you do exactly that, and it's where this light bite comes in.

What you'll learn

Borrowed from film and increasingly valuable in modern product and knowledge work, storyboarding is a simple but powerful way to make sense of complexity. In this light bite course, you’ll learn how to use storyboarding to shape ideas, structure projects and presentations, guide conversations, and create alignment to help the work move forward. You’ll also learn where AI fits into the process, and where your own thinking still matters most.  By the end of it you’ll:

Use Storyboarding To Create Clarity Before You Create Outputs

Go from scattered ideas, disconnected information, or vague project scopes to a clear structure that helps you decide what matters, what comes next, and why.

Use Storyboarding To Lead Conversations & Workshops

Whether with one person or a whole team, remote or in person, you’ll learn how to use storyboarding to facilitate discussions, shape direction, and create alignment across people and disciplines.

Combine Human Thinking With AI More Effectively

Learn how to use storyboarding before and alongside AI tools so prompts, outputs, presentations, and deliverables become more focused, useful, and aligned with the outcome you’re actually after.

Join the live follow-up session on 27 August at 4pm CEST

Learning sticks when you can ask questions and get feedback. That’s why, a few weeks after the course launches, we’ll host a live follow-up session. It’s your chance to get answers tailored to your situation, hear from others, and see more real-life examples of how storyboarding is applied. Ahead of time, you’ll be able to share what you’d like us to cover — from live storyboarding to practical cases drawn from our own work.

"Storyboarding is by far the method that's helped me the most in my career"

"When I started freelancing in 2011, I mostly worked in organisations with low UX maturity. Storyboarding became my way to communicate what I could help with and how and to get the new teams I'd work with aligned.  Since then I've used it consistently at the start of new projects, for defining what needs doing, for structuring presentations, talks and workshop, but also as a facilitation tool in the room. I've thought it to clients I've worked with and in more recent years used it for AI workflows, and for getting the best out of the AI tools we use. More than any framework or tool, storyboarding is the thing that has consistently helped me do great work, build trust, create alignment, guide decisions, and move work forward with clarity. And honestly, I think those skills matter more now than ever." – Anna Dahlström, your instructor

Why You Should Sign Up

Cut through overwhelm & quickly create structure

Storyboarding gives you a practical way to organise ideas, shape presentations, define projects, and map conversations without getting lost in endless iterations or disconnected outputs.

Create alignment before misalignment happen

Use storyboarding to bring stakeholders, team members, and clients onto the same page early on. Spot gaps, overlaps, assumptions, and missing pieces before they become expensive problems later.

Show strategic thinking, not just polished outputs

In a world where AI can generate deliverables quickly, what increasingly stands out is the ability to shape direction, explain reasoning, and confidently guide the work forward. Storyboarding helps make that visible.

Do you ever feel unsure where to start, how to communicate your thinking, or get everyone aligned?

Maybe you’ve been dropped into a project with lots of unknowns, too many ideas, and no clear direction around what actually matters, where to begin, or how it all fits together. Or perhaps you’ve used AI to help generate structures, workshop agendas, presentations, or plans, only to realise that the output still lacked clarity, prioritisation, or a strong narrative. Or maybe you thought everyone was aligned, only to discover later they weren’t, resulting in rework, wasted effort, and endless conversations. If any of that sounds familiar, this light bite is for you.

This Course Is For You If:

You need a faster way to create clarity & direction

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed at the start of a project, workshop, or presentation, storyboarding gives you a practical way to quickly shape the narrative, structure the work, and decide what actually matters before jumping into execution.

You need alignment across people, teams, or disciplines

Whether it’s a cross-functional team, stakeholders, clients, or leadership, storyboarding helps create shared understanding whilst keeping the “what”, “why”, and intended outcome front and centre.

You want to combine AI with stronger human thinking

AI can help generate outputs quickly, but someone still needs to connect the dots, shape the direction, prioritise the effort, and guide the work forward. This course helps you develop exactly those skills.

People who can can create clarity, confidently lead conversations, & the work, will always be in demand.

It's not a guarantee for a job but it is a need that'll only increase the more AI becomes part of our processes, and conversations.  Too many people are unsure of how to move forward. They jump straight in without clear direction, or knowing how the different bits fit together, not to speak of with no understanding of what actually needs doing, and why.  The more we're able to delegate bits to AI, automate workflows, the more we need people who can quickly map out the different parts, why they matter, and how they fit together.  This course helps you develop that skill. Updated course launches 17 June.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not a UX designer, is this course for me?

Yes, this course is for anyone who needs a faster way to clarity and direction, be that for project planning, meetings, creating presentations, running workshops, figuring out what to do on a project, what and how to prompt, or for UX, service or product design work.  Many of the people we've helped besides UX designers are product managers, agile coaches, project managers, strategists, start-up founders, comms specialists and developers to name a few.

Are there any exercises to work through?

Yes, lots. There are downloadable workbooks and Miro boards that cover the exercises and provide templates that you can use for your own projects and presentations the very same day. Each of the exercises are based on that you work through them with your own specific scenarios, projects, and presentations in mind. That way you get the most out of this course. Though, we do have some fictive cases too.

If I'm not happy, can I get a refund?

If that is the case, and if you have completed less than 30% of the course, and it's within 30 calendar days of you starting it, then we'll offer you a full refund. Just email us at [email protected]
