We can really help when it comes to:

The UX and product design process - e.g. how to apply storytelling to the UX design process, when and how to leverage AI, help with how to approach things, get feedback on your work, or be a sounding board for advice.

All things storytelling, presentation and communication skills - e.g. how to quickly transform how you approach create, and give presentations and run meetings to engage your audience and get your message across, as well how you present your work visually so it's clear to others.

Managing tricky situations at work - e.g. how to handle clients and internal stakeholders, challenges with team members, lack of leadership, budget, or not getting the support or opportunities you need internally.

Career and personal development - e.g. the pros and cons of working in-house vs. agency side, being employed vs. freelance, how to progress you career, develop your leadership skills, get into public speaking, blogging, or even writing a book.

Meet your coach & mentor

Anna Dahlström

Founder of UX Fika & Author of Storytelling in Design (O'Reilly)

Having mentors and coaches have been instrumental to Anna's career. She started mentoring others back in 2009 and have since worked with individuals and teams both in a mentor and coaching capacity. With a wealth of experience, a high degree of empathy, and her honest and constructive approach, sessions with Anna are guaranteed to not just progress your development but also be sessions you look forward to.

Do you need career advice, guidance, or help with something specific?

Then mentoring or coaching could be for you. We offer one-off sessions but generally advice a series of sessions over at least 3 months. For guidance and advice on specific matters, topics, or your career then mentoring is the way to go.  If you want more targeted professional and/or personal development then coaching with a more defined process is the way forward.

Working with a mentor or coach is one of the fastest ways to progress and develop your skills.

Our first sessions lasts 45 mins and is charged at a nominal cost. This is where we start to get to know each other and explore if we're a good fit both based on what you need help with.  Because the way we see it, coaching and mentoring is very personal and the fit needs to be right for both of us in order for you to get the most value out of the sessions. Should we continue to work together, the cost of the intro session will be deducted from the subsequent ones.

Complete check-out

The first thing that happens is that you need to complete check-out. Should you book more sessions after this one, we'll deduct the cost of the intro one.

Find a time that works

After completing check-out you'll get directed to Calendly where you can find a date and time that works. If you can't, let us know and we'll find one together.

Complete the questions

As part of the booking process, we ask a few questions about your needs and experience. That way we're both prepared and you get the most out of the sessions.
