Meet your instructor Anna, a Sweden-based UX design leader and author of 'Storytelling in Design' for O'Reilly. Anna has spent the majority of her 23+ year career in London before moving back to Sweden. She's worked client side for the likes of The BBC, for startups, and with digital and marketing agencies on a large variety of brands and projects, from websites and apps to bots and TV UIs. Mostly in organisations and teams that started out with low UX maturity. She's also a seasonal speaker and has given talks and run workshops at conferences such as SXSW, UX London, Websummit, UX Lisbon, Webbdagarna, and many more.

    This is a self-paced online masterclass so you can go through it in your own time, and start and complete it when you like.

  • What's the format for the masterclass?

    This masterclass mixes theory with practice in a fun and engaging way. There are 6 modules all together, each one structured in the same way. The main theory lessons are all video based, with transcripts of course. There are also video lessons explaining all the exercises, though these we recommend that you carry out using the workbooks and Miro links provided. Lastly we summarise each module and end it with a quiz to help you put what you've learnt into perspective. There is also an optional survey lesson at the end of each module to allow you to give feedback or ask specific questions on that module, in private.

  • Are there any exercises to work through?

    Yes, lots. It's recommended that you work through these exercises with your own specific scenarios and presentations in mind. That way you get the most out of this masterclass. However, you are welcome to use one of the sample case studies we provide, if you prefer.

  • Does this masterclass address visual design of presentations?

    No, this masterclass doesn't focus on the visual aspect. We touch on it but it's very high level. Stay tuned for another masterclass on that subject.
